Chief Stockton's HOT Remix of CuDi's 'Make Her Say'

OH YEY! This was a pleasant surprise, well worth since I've spend this whole day on 5 different tardy trains on my way home to Hultsfred, have had to put up with listing to annoying people breath with their mouths open. Sounding just like French Bulldogs, hey piggy piggy heeeeey! Like, shut the effing pie hole pretty please? I don't wanna smell ur sick throat either. Sometimes I really hate public transports.

However, this refers to the hothothot remix of CuDi's 'Make Her Say' by Chief Stockton (u know, the Mild half of Black N Mild). Loved GaGa's acoustic version of 'Pokerface' from "The Cherrytree Sessions EP" and it's nyce to see that Chief incorporated more of the original into the track.

He could have left them annoying scratches behind thou, but over all: LOVE IT!

New Version of Wale's 'Pretty Girls' ft. Gucci Mane

Never getting tired of the drunken Wale & Lindsay Lohan-set! Love every excuse to use it and here comes yet another one.

Ugly girls be quiet quiet, Pretty girls clap clap like this... I guess I betta clap then? HAHA. Nah, seriously, this track has grown on me and the adding of Gucci Mane makes it better than the previous version I complained about before.

Sure, it's still not hittin the same hit potential as 'Chillin', why? The saucy production by Best Kept Secret. And yeah, funniest Wale tweet of the day that runs smoothly along with the 'Pretty Girls'-theme: "Kanye created Amber Rose in a Stephon Urkel machine.. ok bye".

It's Yo Birthday, So I Know U Want To Ride Out...

I never been the biggest fan of Jeremih's 'Birthday Sex', dunno why really, the track just rubs me the wrong way. But Def Jam/Slip n Slide artist Shonie at least tries to make it better.

The only thing that rubs me the wrong way with this; yeah, Shonie speaks with her female voice, but still from the male perspective. Perhaps I'm a bit rabid but seriously, things like that turns me off. I want Lil' Kim or Diamond or Jacki-O just lay down the law, boom boom boom!

But the Agent X remix of the original (will be released the 21st of September) is faaaaaaaar from a turn off. Shit is HOT!

Warning! New Clipse!

This new banger by Clipse and Rock City has been floting around for 20 days or so and war originally an exclusive for It's not clear if this is from the upcoming Clipse-album "Til The Casket Drops" (drops October 20) or if it's from the forthcoming debut album from the ATL-based production duo The Synth (Ben Hazlegrove & Alex Botwin: MySpace).

However. Track is sick!

Get MEGA with the Count & Sinden

'Mega' is the new single from The Count & Sinden, personally not my fave track of the bunch but the video is on some Megatron-ish and that's always a good look in my book:

"The Blueprint 3" vs. "Man On The Moon"

I'm still not impressed over the details released of Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3" so far. Take the 'Run This Town'-track ft. Rihanna and KanYe for example, sure it's okay, but does it knock the ball out the ballpark? Definitely not. Full on lead-single material? Ehr. No. But earlier this week Jay-Z confirmed that he's not a complete reactionary twat as he has pulled a Cudder on the album as he will feature MGMT on one of the tracks.

I'm not _all_ about hating, I'm kinda intrigued by 'Off That' ft. Drake (the track was originally planned as the first official single) and of course, the track featuring KiD CuDi.

But u know here my heart is, the album I look forward to is Cudder's. Esp. since the new leak, a possible left over, called 'Call Me Moon Man' was translated into binary code. And let's just have a look at the album details of "Man on the Moon: The End of Day", so far:

1. 'Day 'n' Nite' (prod. by Dot da Genius)
2. 'Make Her Say' ft. KanYe West & Common (prod. by KanYe West)
3. 'Sky Might Fall' (prod. by KanYe West)
4. 'Mr. Solo Dolo" (prod. by Melo)
5. 'Soundtrack to My Life' (prod. by Emile)
6. 'Heart of a Lion' (prod. by
7. 'Intergalactic, You & Me'
8. 'Teen Wolf' ft. Ratatat (prod. by Ratatat)
9. 'Angels & Demons' ft. Clipse
10. 'Pursuit Of Happiness' ft. MGMT (prod. by Ratatat)
11. 'In My Dreams (National Cudder Anthem)' (prod. by Emile)
12. 'Not I Alone' ft. Snoop Dogg (prod. by Just Blaze)
13. 'Wake Up' (prod. by Ratatat)

I understand why Cudder is pissed that the release of the album got postponed 'til after the release of Jay-Z's but honesty, Cudder's is both stronger on paper and by already released singles and leaks. What's left for Cudder now is to look over his so called friends, some nyce "friends" leaking his tracks to their left and right.

Dizzee's 'Holiday' Video & "Tongue N' Cheek" Update

The official video for Dizzee Rascal's upcoming single 'Holiday' premiered earlier today on Channel 4;

If this ain't another number 1, I would be very very surprised. Seriously, can Dizzee do anything wrong?

I'm looking forward to "Tongue N Cheek" so much (21st of September is the date)! For starters, it’s going undoubtedly to be the most upbeat album Dizzee has ever made, frankly, unlike some others, I don't care if it's grime or not from Dizzee anymore. Dizzee is Dizzee, he sounds just as good on almost everything and he has already stated that "Tongue N Cheek" is a party album – that it’s naughty and nice, offering something for everyone, not grime. Here's the updated tracklist taken from HMV (where u also can pre-order the album):

1. 'Bonkers' ft. Armand Van Helden
2. 'Road Rage'
3. 'Dance Wiv Me' ft. Chrome & Calvin Harris
4. 'Freaky Freaky'
5. 'Can't Tek No More' (prod. by Shy FX)
6. 'Chillin' Wiv Da Man Dem'
7. 'Dirtee Cash'
8. 'Money Money Money'
9. 'Leisure'
10. 'Holiday' ft. Chrome (prod. by Calvin Harris)

As well as the three previous singles, there’s 'Road Rage'; a thumping house track that has been a regular fixture of Dizzee’s live sets throughout 2009, whilst 'Dirtee Cash' which features a sample of the classic Stevie V tune, finds Dizzee warning people of the dangers of spending all their money at once and the chores of everyday life.

Shy FX, (who collaborated with Dizzee on 'Da Feelin' from the previous album "Maths and English") also adds production duties to the carnival-esque, summertime anthem of 'Can’t Tek No More'.

However, the track that I'm actually looking forward to the most, with a bit of fear, is 'Chillin Wiv Da Man Dem' which is probably Dizzee’s biggest departure from his old grimy self. It’s actually a classic, smooth-sounding r'n'b-tune reminiscent of Tupac or Snoop Dogg. Can be either very good or a total train wreck like 'Holiday Lover'. Uh never been a fan of Prince other than the standing joke of Family Guy.

And yeah, usually I hate to post old shit but I re-discovered this little pearl earlier this week and I don't think that I've posted it before, so whatevez. It's Johan and Etienne at their best!

Dizzee Rascal's 'Holiday Lover'

I'm out of words frankly. I think I'll stick to the original, without the Lover-part. Yepp, definitely. This is waaaaaaay to much disco for my taste. The video for 'Holiday' will drop soon and the single will be out the 24th of August.

Frankmusik and Tinchy Stryder Join Forces

Okay, Tinchy Stryder got much on his plate atm. First up, the release of his sophomore album "Catch 22" crawls nearer and nearer. The date is set to the 17th of August, Island Records is the label and the official tracklist looks like this:

1. 'Take Off'
2. 'I'm Landing'
3. 'Take Me Back' ft. Taio Cruz
4. 'Spotlight' ft. Tanya Lacey
5. 'Number 1' ft. N-Dubz
6. 'Shake Me'
7. 'Stryderman'
8. 'Warning'
9. 'First Place'
10. 'Pit Stop'
11. 'Halo'
12. 'Tryna Be Me' ft. Ruff Sqwad
13. 'Never Leave You' ft. Amelle
14. 'We Got Dem' ft. Chipmunk
15. 'You're Not Alone'
16. 'Preview'
17. 'Catch 22'
18. 'Express Urself'

Second: The upcoming single 'Never Leave You' ft. Sugababes member Amelle Berrabah I've spoken of before will be released the 3rd of August. Not my fave Tinchy track to be honest.

The 3rd of August is also the day of the release of Frankmusik's (u know, the 'Confusion Girl'-guy) debut album "Complete Me" and last week Frankmusik and Tinchy teamed up once again (earlier they worked together on the remix of 'Confusion Girl' that can be found on the official single that was released Mondays, listen here), this time for Mixmag to make some magic happen. The result become 'Wrong Time, Wrong Place': the perfect mixture of Frank's distinctive vocals, Tinchy's spot on rhymes, a fat bass and grinding electro.

Last but not least, as promotion for the album Tinchy giving away free "Star In The Hood" EP's and here's the 2nd edition as promised. Maniac's remix of 'Take Me Back' = <3.

Westcoast Chillin'

Sorry for the no-show the past days, I'm not home at the moment, waved good bye to Hultsfred for a vacation with my best friend at the good old westcost!

And speaking of the west, Wale just got booked to the club program of the Way Out festival in Gothenburg in mid August (Wale will be performing at Kajskjul 8 the 15th). It's a damn shame that I'm no longer live in Gothenburg, miss the city like crazy to be honest.

Here's two pretty nyce new remixes of 'Chillin' that have been sent to me the past week. Btw, thinking of making the GaGalicious-bow as the hair for tonight's shenanigans... well, we'll see.

Doorly's Remix of CuDi's 'She Came Along' EXCLUSIVE!

Haha, CuDi haters can lay off this site for a while...

Just saw this exclusive gem from the ever so nyce people over at Ministry of Sound in my lil' inbox and went mad happy.

I know u have fancied all of Doorly's fresh dubstep remixes in the past so enjoy this dubstep dream where he takes jungle rhythms and seamlessly merges them with Patsy Cline and CuDi’s vocal of CuDi & Sharam's 'She Came Along'.

Them New Boyz and a Ice Cream Paint Job

I can't help myself, but I really love 'You're A Jerk'! The first single from LA's New Boyz' upcoming EP "Skinny Jeans and a Mic" (released on Shotty/Asylum/Warner Bros.). Love it unconditionally despite them checked patterned skinny jeans, the fugly house hat and the huge one-hit-wonder potential.

Cause the track is mad catchy, what can go wrong with a Fabo sample from 'Scotty' and a video containing dancing by popular jerkin' crews The Power Ranger$ & Action Figures?

Nothing. So here's two great remixes featuring DJ Webstar and Texas Rapper Dorrough. Speaking of Dorrough, his debut album, which is self-titled "Dorrough Music", is due for release on E1 Music on August 4th. The debut single 'Ice Cream Paint Job' is some good shit as well, Cream on the inside / Clean on the outside got me: hook, line and sinker.

GoldieLocks x Nike = TUNE

As u know, I really love a good sneaker collaboration, like this one called "The IAM1 Journey" Nike got going on in five European cities (London, Milan, Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam) right now, bringing together the new creative people to revolutionise and make magic happen.

In London Nike teamed up with Morgan Zarate, Insa, Protein, Charlie Dark and moved GoldieLocks away from the pages of Maxim into a pair of the new Nike Maxim instead.

Dunno if I like the new updated shoe really, I'm more of the Air Max 90 person, but however, LOVE this ad:

Also, LOVE LOVE LOVE the official track for the London Journey Goldie made along with Morgan Zarate.

The Death of Death of Autotune

I know, this from Tito Lopez is an easy jump and a bit sell out but it doesn't matter as long as it keep my heart warm.

Seriously, I really hate this production, it's almost as annoying as the Sonisphere Festival that's going on in Hultsfred right now (most overrated thing in the world: guitar solos). The sound is actually better by our house than it is at the festival, so how about shit like Cradle of Filth along with dinner or the forthcoming 2 hour+ long Metallica set in 45 minutes or so? 23:45-02.00... I'm not feeling the hype. Sorry for hatin' but seriously. Nah. The Hives were good thou.

Hi! I'm Kid Sister! Baby Get Ur Right Hand Hi!

Finally it seems like the looong awaited debut album from Chitown's Kid Sister gonna see the light of day after several push backs!

The new release date is set to the 6th of October (Fool's Gold/Downtown Records), the album title is changed from "Dream Date" to the much more suited "Ultraviolet". More nyce changes is made, like the one that the horrible track with David Banner called 'Family Reunion' is taken off the tracklist along with 2 other tracks and instead replaced with 5 new ones.

Among them is her new single 'Right Hand Hi', a track that moves her even deeper into the house scene than her and Treasure Fingers' cover of Jungle Brothers classic 'I'll House You', since it's produced by the Swedish House Mafia (Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso). Whoop whoop Sweden represent! However, 'Right Hand Hi' is not my fave Kid Sis-tune (even if it's slowly growing good on me) but the rest of the new tracklist looks more than promising:

1. 'Right Hand Hi' (prod. by Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso)
2. 'Life On TV'
3. 'Daydreaming'
4. 'Let Me Bang 2009'
5. 'Big 'N' Bad'
6. 'Pro Nails" ft. KanYe West (prod. by A-Trak)
7. 'Step' ft. Estelle
8. 'Switch Board' ft. DJ Gant-Man
9. 'Get Fresh'
10. '54321'
11. 'You Ain't Really Down'
12. 'Control' (prod. by XXXchange)

The album also includes production by Spank Rock, Sinden, Hervé, Yuksek among others. let's just hope that 'Step' with Estelle still is the homage to 'Ladies First' and not some other track.

KiD CuDi 'Make Her Say' Video Preview

KiD CuDi was bloody amazing last Saturday at the Hultsfred Festival, LOVED the 'Intergalactic, You & Me'-track, (gonna borrow my lil sister's lappie to throw up all pix and everything since mine is just one big system error atm). There's something about Cudder that's makes him so easy to love, he feels grounded and kinda like an emotional rollercoaster at the same time. Normal.

However, here's the preview of the 'Make Her Say'-video it's just 20 short seconds but it's 20 great seconds (the full version will probably land sometime during the weekend):

Just love when CuDi lashes out on Twitter, yesterday it was that he missed out on the Grammy nominations and the fact that his forthcoming debut album "Man On the Moon: The End of Day" had changed release date to 15th of September, just 4 days after the release of Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3".

Too Many Weave aka. Mediocrity Rulez

YEY! This is _exactly_ what the world needed, another male comedy duo trying to make fun of womanly attributes. Please someone call Sarah Silverman and ask her to make a joke about the menstrual cycle... it's all that new new! Promise!

+1 for getting all the fugly makeup juuuust right thou.

Dear Jason Lewis and Daniel Kaluuya my question is, when does the number one smash hit song 'Too Many Talentless Boys Every-fucking-where aka. Mediocrity Rulez' gonna see the light of day? Tees that go along with that: "Girl Never Blow (cuz I ain't packin' heat, I'm not even the size of an amuse-bouche)".

Yawn. This is just like Promoe's horrible track 'Svennebanan': made for airheads and a complete waste of time, name and MONEY.

Yeah, I know, we need some real music in here! It's coming. Hold tight.

Ms. Dynamite: Hot Like Fire

The last time I wrote something about Ms. Dynamite I wished that she would give up the cooking career she had going on in Hell's Kitchen and finish the new album "Democracy" instead. Now the shows long over and fresh out the kitchen comes this new single along with The Nextmen and Andy Cato (Groove Armada) called 'Lion's Den':

LOVE it!

And as icing on the sweet cake, the cherry on top... well u get it, she decided to giveaway her first single from the upcoming album. U know, the fiery Sticky-produced tune 'Bad Gyal' I posted a bad rip of months ago. Tune is still mas fire!

It's available to download via her site but 50% of the files are in .wma-format so I decoded it to .mp3 for ya. Why do people still use .wma btw? It's like one would use ms Paint instead of Photoshop or something. I don't get it. But I do get lyrics like: "Question: boy can you add up? The equation of you plus me equals nada". Makes perfect sense.

Pussy Poppin' With Ludacris Tonight

Oh, the Hultsfred Festival... Got a brutal awakening by some drunken youths this morning banging on the window. Newly engaged, have had a drunken fight and the guy had thrown his ring somewhere on our garden which is quite big... Need I say they didn't find it and that a huge drama was played up for me? Aaron Spelling u got nothing...

However, Ludacris tonight! Hype hype, from what I've heard his gig in London some nights ago was great so my expectations couldn't be any higher, the problem is that I'm probably gonna miss out cause of work. Hope I can sneak away at least for 30 minutes or something, miss out on 'Pussy Poppin' is not exactly my life goal.

Don't think Shawnna will tag along all the way to the deep forests of Sweden with Luda to battle out the sexes for real but a girl can hope can't she? Luda's and Shawnna's collaboration album "Battle of the Sexes" will also drop in September, such a great moth it will be.

Yeah yeah, gonna crank this one up real high and jump into the shower:

"Get Right Radio : Summer 2009 Edition" Madness

I'm still a bit ill but in a much better mood today. Even starting to get down with the festival vibe down here in Hultsfred, so yeah everything is actually pretty peachy.

There's also so much good music out right now, it's almost ridiculous. Like LMFAO's album "Party Rock" that was released yesterday and no matter how much I dislike their band name (Internet lingo anno 1997 doesn't do it for me) the album is really really good. 'Shots' ftw, so go cop it!

And it's not summer without another edition of DJ Benzi's "Get Right Radio" right? So summer's here and this time around Chester French are in for hosting duties. The mix is packed with 50 tracks that are all mixed and mangled in the normal fashion and besides the expected DJ Benzi refixes there’s a grip of exclusives and new joints from everyone from Wale to Kings of Leon to 30h!3 ft. NUMP Teams Up with M.I.A for Another Banger

Remember NUMP? That Filipino/American hyphy guy that did 'I Gott Grapes' along with E-40 and The Federation produced by D1 of the Knockaholicks back in 2006? The track that M.I.A. later jumped on for the Worldwide Treemix and it became THE track of that summer and NUMP became a bigger promoter of the purple color than Cam'Ron?

Well, whether u remember or not, NUMP is back with 'Legalize My Medicine' on a beat signed Droop-E and yet again he has M.I.A by his side, the track is the first single from the upcoming album "Student Ov Da Game".

Totally hyphy, totally dumb, totally good!
