5kinAndBone5 & Robert Jeffrey - 'Penis Power' Single Release

I absolutely love 5kinandBone5. Why? Well, not only do they craft great productions no, I think they're the only ones that actually could sample and make fully justice of Alexyss Tylor's legendary "Penis Power/Vagina Power" segment (if you don't know, watch here).

Jagga - 'Love Song' Official Video & Boy 8 Bit Remix Free DL

Jagga, who recently dropped 'Keep On the Light' ft. TMS & Devlin for free over at his facebook (here), is readying his new single 'Love Song' to be released the 22nd July on Epic (Sony). 'Love Song', actually more like an anti-love song, details a kind of harsh, and maybe rather brief, affair that is more likely to be packed with lust rather than love. The lyrics speak for themselves and the video puts an even bigger spin on the whole thing, turning it into something gritty and violent:

Steve Aoki & Angger Dimas ft. Iggy Azalea - ‘Beat Down’ (Donae'o Remix)

Iggy Azalea, who's gig sadly got cancelled here in Sweden a couple of weeks ago, was supposed to drop the video she made for hers, Steve Aoki's and Angger Dimas' 'Beat Down' today but you'll have to wait a little longer as she as the woman with total creative control over it she's currently adding even more scenes to the superhero-inspired visuals. Instead here's Donae'o's great take of the song for your listening pleasure:

Sexfemman, Toffer & Simon Emanuel - 'Slussen 23:15' (Rap-Edit)

Swedish rappers Sexfemman, Toffer & Simon Emanuel takes matter into their own hands and make a nice rap edit of Swedish dubstep duo Fritjof & Pikanen's 'Slussen 23:15' from 2010. Just to put "Slussen" in context for all of you non Swedes out there, Slussen is a iconic place and junction in Stockholm that's now is going to be demolished and rebuilt thanks to a right wing decisions and this has become a hot potatoe in the political climate and debate over here.

That said, listen and download below:

After teaming up with Juicy J a while back on 'Bout That Life' Donnis is finally back with a brand new single called 'Hello Kitty' out on Fool's Gold today. The track that named it's title from Sanrio's most famous character is described as an "irresistible club rap anthem destined to rattle car trunks and grease stripper poles all summer" and it serves as the first tease of what's in store on Donnis' forthcoming "Break Hundreds And Hearts" EP.

Lilla Namo - 'Haffa Guzz' (prod. by Up To No Good)

Whoop! As I wrote a couple of days ago, I like First Up! to be about the future and well, here's a name to remember as here comes the debut single from one of the ladies with the sickest nail game in Sweden: Lilla Namo!

The track is called 'Haffa Guzz' (could be translated to something like "Pull/Nab/Grab a Chick") produced by Up To No Good, a production duo consisting of Jeansbjörn and Alex Thuder, known for producing Toffer's 'Nattbuss') and is out today on BABA Recordings (owned by Swedish rapper Petter).

Azealia Banks - 'Liquorice' Official Video

It took 6 months and a re-shot with new direction by Rankin (and styling by Nicola Formichetti) but now the wait is over, here it is, the official video for Azealia Banks' Lone-produced 'Liquorice', taken off her "1991" EP that dropped at the end of last month.

IT'S FESTIVAL SEASON PEOPLE! That means that tomorrow Thursday the 14th 'til Saturday the 16th I will be down in the deep woods of Hultsfred (where I actually grew up) and cover the 26th edition of the Hultsfred Festival. Personally for me, festivals aren't about watching all the grand major acts that are to drunk to stand up straight cause they actually stopped giving a fuck years ago as long as they get their grand gage, no festivals are about exploring new acts. You know, the old school version of dive into unexplored music pre music blogs.

I like to think that this site is about the future, and here are some acts that have future/new world order written all over them, in other words, do not miss any of these goodies featured below this weekend!

Cooly G - Thursday June 14th - Yellow Stage - 23:00-00:00

Cooly G is the second female producer on Hyperdub alongside Ikonika (who enters the spot right after Cooly G at 00:00-01:00 am) and she released her debut single 'Love Dub' b/w 'Narst' for the label, after a string of self-produced CDR-s. Cooly G’s productions exist in their own hinterland – abstract post-garage beats that slowly shuffle into life, dubbed out, with her own cut up vocal snippets singing painterly half phrases.

Besides Cooly G and Ikonika the special Hyperdub night also features Kode9 (of course), Scracha DVA and Morgan Zarate.

Willy Moon - Thursday June 14th - Yellow Stage - 18:30-19:15

Willy Moon built his debut single 'Yeah Yeah' around a central sample from Wu-Tang Clan’s 'Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta Fuck Wit'. The result became a highly compressed collision of cut-ups and samples (if you listen closely you can also hear The Meters and James Brown in there too) and the references doesn't end there no, The Guardian described Mr.Moon with the following "Bo Diddley, remixed by Swizz Beatz". Speaking of remixes by the way, download Sinden's great take on 'Yeah Yeah' for free below:

Gorillaz Soundsystem ft. Spoek Mathambo - Saturday June 16th - Green Stage - 00:00-01:20

No Gorillaz aren't exactly new to the game, that's not the case with Spoek Mathambo either but the South African producer/MC is still sadly kind of unknown to the general public here in Sweden. Spoek dropped his solo album debut "Mshini Wam" back in 2010 that he followed up with his sophomore release "Father Creeper" on Sub Pop earlier this year. Together with the Gorillaz Soundsystem he will perform a special crazyass version of the title single from "Mshini Wam".

Azealia Banks - 'Aquababe' (prod. by Machinedrum) off "Fantasea"

There's a lot going round Azealia Banks these days, splitting with her manager Troy Carter, ending her twitter account and her amazing rant (that's sadly removed) on her Tumblr from a couple of days ago where she addressed everything from being an artist to the sexism in the rap-game:

" don’t let the stupid rap blogs tell u i’ve stopped rapping.. cause i haven’t.. i’m still here.. i just know that being as REACTIVE of a person as i am… i can’t be reading EVERYONE’S thoughts all day. its easy for people to hide behind their twitter pages. so they’ll say shit they wouldn’t say if you were to ever be face to face.

and when they say these things… and find out that i’m a REAL person.. and they get a REAL response.. they don’t know what to do… … then I’m standing there looking like the bad guy because i got too real.

i’m not a liar. i have never said anything that in my mind i haven’t believed to be true.

yes, i think white girls shouldn’t make runaway slave master references, not only because its borderline racist, but because it’s corny…. its not innovative. seeing someone utilize such a sinister theme in order to further prove their authenticity or promote a false “blackness” is whack to me. (No, i never said white girls were privileged and shouldn’t rap… i went to private school and theater camp my whole childhood…. i was more than priveliged ) yes… a certain southern rap male should’ve minded his business. Not only because it had nothing to do with him.. but because it wasn’t something that was up for debate. Said male did his best in distracting the public from the aforementioned female’s comment, and instead turned the situation into a shitstorm. A shitstorm in which i should’ve stayed out of as it did nothing but further propel aforementioned southern male rappers name into the Azealia Banks story, and further distract the Azealia Banks audience from Azealia Banks.

I’m not a dummy…. i know i pop a lot of shit, and I’m not playing the victim here… i’m just backing off. I can’t fight every battle. I can’t open the eyes of those who choose to stay asleep. I can’t abide by the rules of “rap game”….. (NO ONE EVEN KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE….LOL!) I also can’t be subjected to whatever weird “Light skin hierarchy” the rap world subliminally (and sometimes directly) is trying to promote. I know what it is…the MEN in the rap game prefer light skin… and that’s cool, i like light skin too.. but i’m not here to be sexy.. and i’m not here looking for a date.

I’m not even really here for the men. (#lesbihonest)

I’m a Young Black American Woman in 2012. I’m a 21-yr-old millionaire. i don’t have to prove myself to anyone….I’ve already paid my dues. I and the generations of women who came before me have been through enough stress and crap to warrant me (the new generation) a very illustrious, lucrative, luxurious, STRESS-FREE career & life.

and just that’s it! Azealia Banks just wants to be free! free from social media.. free from the rap game.. free from the haters, and free from the ignorance!"

Stress, Sebbe Staxx, Aleks, Malcolm B, Nimo, Promoe, Moms & Adam Tensta - 'Tystas Ner' RMH Remix

Sorry all international readers, but I have to do this post in Swedish...

samma fega mentalitet bär aldrig visa upp
klipper man gräset visas alla ormarna
??? i morgonsofferna svarar Carl Bildt indirekt Jimmie Åkesson ey

Men sen då?
