Last night Rihanna stopped by Saturday Night Live to perform her 'What's My Name' and 'Only Girl (In the World)' singles off her upcoming album "LOUD":
The day has come people, what has been a well kept secret is now out, here's the official tracklist for Nicki Minaj's highly anticipated debut album "Pink Friday" that drops the 22nd of November.
Nicki revealed on that crazy U-stream session she held Sunday night that the album would feature 17 tracks (the deluxe deluxe version you can get off Best Buy has 19) and is graced with guest features from Nicki's fake husband Drake, Rihanna, KanYe West, Natasha Bedingfield, Will.I.Am and Nicki's Roman Zolanski character will go head to head with Eminem's Slim Shady on 'Roman's Revenge' (stream below):
1. 'I'm The Best'
2. 'Roman's Revenge' ft. Eminem (prod. by Swizz Beatz)
3. 'Did It On'em'
4. 'Right Thru Me' (prod. by Drew Money)
5. 'Fly' ft. Rihanna
6. 'Save Me'
7. 'Moment 4 Life' ft. Drake
8. 'Check It Out' ft. Will.I.Am (prod. by. Will.I.Am)
9. 'Blazin' ft. KanYe West
10. 'Here I Am'
11. 'Dear Old Nicki'
12. 'Your Love' (prod. by Andrew Wansel)
13. 'Last Chance' ft. Natasha Bedingfield
14. 'Super Bass' (Deluxe Bonus Track)
15. 'Blow Ya Mind' (Deluxe Bonus Track)
16. 'Muny' (Deluxe Bonus Track)
17. 'Girls Fall Like Dominoes' (iTunes Bonus)
I'm kinda surprised to see that 'Blow Ya Mind' actually made it all the way to the album and a couple of days ago Nicki told Power99's Shamara:
"The album is like an autobiography. It's very truthful, but it also really shows my growth as an artist and as a writer [...] If you were a fan when I was doing the mixtapes and the DVDs, don't feel like you're not gonna be happy. You are gonna have ample music on the album that you're gonna absolutely love" and she pretty much told the same on her latest Ustream-session.
Pre-order "Pink Friday" off Amazon or iTunes.
Here's 'Roman's Revenge' (which you can buy off iTunes NOW), produced by Swizzy, ft. Eminem and well, it's crazy, TOO good, seriously, this album, will be the album of the year:
and since I am already on Roman Zolanski, here's comes a dance remix of 'Bottoms Up' by SmithAgentSmith as well.

KanYe West ft. Pete Rock, Jay-Z, Charlie Wilson, Curtis Mayfield & KiD CuDi - 'The Joy' #GOODFridays
Earlier this week KanYe West revealed to MTV's Sway that his and Jay-Z's project "Watch The Throne", which was originally set to be released as an EP, has now become a full-length album and some of the songs that was supposed to be featured on it is now instead appearing on KanYe's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy".
But now it's Saturday and time for the weekly #GOODFridays dosage which this week features Pete Rock, Jay-Z, Charlie Wilson, Curtis Mayfield & KiD CuDi and looks like this:
|KanYe West ft. Pete Rock, Jay-Z, Charlie Wilson, Curtis Mayfield & KiD CuDi - 'The Joy' YSI | zShare|
Twitter is a truly wonderful thing. So wonderful it drove KiD CuDi off last year, but well, just learnt by Dot da Genius that only 11 days before its release, KiD CuDi's sophomore album "Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager" has leaked onto the interwebz and he also asks what your favourite track is.
The evident answer to that little question is of course a track that Dot da Genius produced right? Like the wonderful and exquisite 'Trapped in My Mind':
KiD CuDi - 'Marijuana'

The First Treat off Aaron LaCrate's Upcoming Album "Ignorant Art" - 'Tidal Wave' ft. Mz Streamz & MNDR
If you haven't noticed already, I'm a bit slow today, been awake since 04:20 am for several reasons and life's a bit hectic/stressed/bad at the moment, which is also the reason why this comes so damn late since I promised Aaron to post this up over a week ago.
But well, nuff about me and my time/life issues, here it is, the first single treat off Aaron LaCrate's upcoming album "Highlandtown: Ignorant Art" that drops in December on Milkcrate Records. The track is called 'Tidal Wave' and features one of First Up!'s long time fave b-more girls Mz. Streamz and the lovely NYC Electronic artist Amanda Warner, more known as MNDR.
Last year Mr. LaCrate teamed up with Debonair Samir and together they put out the first b-more major label release "B-More Club Crack" and Aaron's "Highlandtown: Ignorant Art" will be the next phase. The album is set to feature a great number of guests such as Cool Kids, Tassleema, Lily Allen, Mark Ronson, Dizzee Rascal, Amanda Blank and many more. In other words, can't wait to lay my hands on it!
But 'til then, enjoy the good vibes of 'Tidal Wave' below.
And since I'm already on good vibes-type of tracks, here's another one that I've been hooked on for the last week. Yeah, I really don't care that dear Ron Browz will be on his one note streak 'til forever, that one note = certified banger, and '86' is no exception.

Brace yourselves, here comes Robyn in a strange tube ensemble, in the official video for 'Indestructible', the final single off her "Body Talk" trilogy, directed by Nils Ljunggren and Max Vitali:
"Body Talk pt. 3" drops the 22nd of November.
Gyptian in Stockholm Tonight & 'Hold Yuh' Official Remix Package ft. Shy FX, Benny Page, Major Lazer, Toddla T, D Double E & Soca
Gyptian's success with his multi-chart hit 'Hold Yuh' has very little to do with Gyptian himself, that becomes quite clear when you actually listen to his third album named after the single that was released earlier this fall. In fact, Gyptian is quite boring when you put him up to the test, a bit like painting your walls latte-brown, completely tasteless.
Besides the title track the album (listen to it here) only contains one or two good tracks like 'Tease Me' and some other, and they are good cause of the productions, not by Gyptian's vocal effort. What can I say, whiny male dancehall vocalists has never been a fave dish of mine. What made 'Hold Yuh' to become such a big hit is the riddim, plain and simple. Esp. since Nicki Minaj owns Gyptian's sorry ass on the official remix, Lady Saw kills them both with her take on it, Bad Gal Bambi own it with her diss towards Nicki and even the lovely Latoya Forever manages to sound like a star on hers and Femi F Lawson's parody of the track.
However, tonight Gyptian will grace Stockholm and Göta Källare with a visit as he stops by on his current tour together with Etana, Nitty Kutchie & Shiloh Band, but for the evident reasons I'm not gonna go, like pay 330 SEK + additional fee for a club gig based upon the success of one track? Who are you? Soulja Boy? And mind you, I would have paid twice as much if some Swedish booker would have been up with the pace back in 2006 and booked him when 'Crank Dat' raced up the charts.
But if YOU wanna go, you can check all the details here.
Don't get me wrong, I love 'Hold Yuh' but when the hype wears off, and it will soon, Gyptian will disappear in a snap, just like Serani did after the success he gained last year. But not just yet as the new official remix package of 'Hold Yuh' will drop the 7th of November on MoS, featuring cuts from Major Lazer, Toddla T ft. D Double E:
and the absolutely lovely bassy monster below by Shy FX & Benny Page.

Who has a major crush on Katy B at the moment? Everyone? Yeah, I thought so... I spoke about her upcoming single ft. Ms. Dynamite last month when they both performed it live at the Wembley Arena for BBC's 1Xtra Live, but yesterday finally some more details were revealed about 'Lights On'.
Skream announced via Twitter that he's about to give 'Lights On' the Skreamix-treatment (most likely to be featured on the official single release next month) and Rinse FM released this video from the Notting Hill Carnival where Katy and Ms. Dynamite performed it at the Rampage-stage. In the clip Katy also talks about what the Carnival means to her and what it's like working with Ms. Dynamite:
During the weekend, 'Lights On' also hit the airwaves and has had excessive airplay over at BBC (the radio rip below is quite decent) and the official music video will premiere via Rinse FM's YouTube channel this Friday (the 29th of October), in other words, keep your eyes peeled.
And since this olden goldie sort of has been my theme song for the day, there can never be too much of Ms. Dynamite in the world so let's throwback 'Don't Stop' from hers and Akala's "A Little Darker" mixtape/2 disc album from 2006 (which you still can download for free via Datpiff).
Ms. Dynamite is also set to appear on the UK production duos Jargon V.A's upcoming album that will drop on Cheese on Bread, and here's also a nice free taster from the duo featuring Killa P (Roll Deep) called 'Crime Scene'. Jargon V.A have more interesting collaborations in store for the near future with Tinie Tempah and High Rankin among others.

Besides Nelly Furtado, the only artist to be featured on N.E.R.D.'s upcoming album "Nothing" that drops next week, the 2nd of November is T.I. and the track that is graced with his presence is called 'Party People'.
But I guess T.I.'s life is everything but a party these days. How things are going with his upcoming album "King Uncaged" is still petty unclear as the album currently has no release date. My guess is that it will come out early next year while T.I. is locked up again as he now faces 11 more months behind bars. But there's one light in the tunnel, according to TMZ, the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the Atlanta native's case from his felony drug arrest last month, dropping the charges since he's already been sentenced for violating his federal probation.
Recently T.I. also had the bad taste to team up with Chris Brown on the Neptunes produced 'Get Back Up', a rant so boring I'm not even gonna bother linking it. Here's instead the official video for N.E.R.D.'s 'Help Me', directed by Doug Spangenberg:
And as a bonus, fetch Swizz Beatz' latest instalment on Twitter: #MonsterMondays, where he similar to KanYe's #GOODFridays will give a away free tracks and today's free goodie is featured by none other than Estelle, PLUS Lil Wayne's '30 Minutes to New Orleans', first featured in "the Carter"-documentary but now released on Mack Maine's fresh mixtape "The Laxative".

Finally, here's the track that can be heard when you snap a picture over at M.I.A.'s facefacefacebook.com. It's called '1111' and is a lil electro/Bhangra treat.
I have no idea if Diplo lies behind the production steez on this one as well, but I'm pretty sure he will address it in the near future if that's the case.
Let's put a bright smile on this Monday with some nice footage from that Exploited Records 3 years anniversary at Villa, Berlin from 2 weeks ago with Gnucci Banana and Mash Up International. Press play and peep a super exclusive preview of new Gnucci material, backstage footage and the live performance:
Ana, I fucking love you girlfriend, if you didn't know it already. "My Eric Clapton-pose... #DEEP".
See people, this girl, THIS girl is the next level.
Let's round off this chill nice Sunday with a nice chill/dubstep remix of one of the best tracks, if not THE best track, off Magnetic Man's self titled debut album: 'Flying Into Tokyo'.
The remix comes from Azedia, a London production trio made up of members of trance DJ's Schadenfreude and pop production team Invigilators.
Seriously, 'Flying Into Tokyo' will always and forever define the Autumn of 2010 for me. The same way KanYe's 'Street Lights' defines the Autumn of 2008. Truly epic.
Speaking of Yeezy for that matter, today I've seen "Runaway" 11 times, so far. So good and all the small details in the film just makes it so much greater, like the dinner party for example. Shit I really miss someone to tear it down with, analyse and be all anal about every single frame. If your up for it, well, you know where to find me.
That said, I almost forgot, someone sent me this rip from the film of 'Blame Game' featuring John Legend & Pusha T. Not the best of quality, can't wait for the real album version to drop, but well enjoy.

Gosh, I feel really pretentious by saying this, but I actually like KanYe West's film "Runaway", if it's one thing KanYe knows it's the visual language, and everything just comes together in this great piece written by Hype Williams:
"My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" in stores the 22nd of November.
Here's a 2+ min long preview of KanYe West's movie "Runaway" that will air in 4 hours more or less. The clip is narrated by Nicki Minaj in her British accent and the song featured is 'Dark Fantasy', the first track of Ye's upcoming album:

Nicki Minaj - 'Blow Your Mind' & the First Female to Ever Enter MTV's "Hottest MCs In The Game"-list
It's now only one single month left until Nicki Minaj's debut album "Pink Friday" hit the shelves, digital stores and everyone like a bomb but so far everything around the album has been a big secret. And it still is. There's still no official tracklist, the two tracks that are confirmed to appear on the album is 'Right Thru Me' & 'Your Love'. 'Massive Attack' has been removed.
I have no idea if this new track called 'Blow Your Mind' will be featured on it, but I don't think so. This version is taken from DJ Haze's mixtape "Still Counting Money 3" and has several tags and is not exactly mind blowing in it's current state. But it has some highs, like lines like "I'm international - tell him to call me Borat".
Also, Nicki Minaj is the first female MC to ever make a spot at MTV's "Hottest MCs In The Game"-list and hopefully she will pave the way for the rest of the female in rap. Nicki even beat Lil Wayne with one spot on the list as the greatest rapper alive is at the #7 spot. Listen why here:
Nicki will be answering YOUR questions LIVE tomorrow (Sunday the 24th of October) in a Q&A on MTV so tweet your questions to @mtvrapfix or upload a video question to your.mtv.com.

Tonight KanYe West's shortfilm "Runaway" finally will premire for the rest of the world that wasn't invited to the five exclusive screenings that has been held all over the world. The film can be seen simultaneously on MTV, BET, MTV2, MTV.com & BET.com at 8pm EST.
But before all that go down, here's this weeks edition of the #GOODFridays treat, today featured by Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco & Big Sean:
As well as the tagged up version of 'Hell of a Life' from "My Beautiful dark Twisted Fantasy" which you can pre-order via iTunes.

In other news Rihanna has officially parted ways with her long time manager and secured a management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation with the plan to launch a new company called Rihanna Entertainment that will "merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance, fashion, and book ventures".
Chase & Status just aired their upcoming single ft. Liam Bailey called 'Blind Faith' live for the first time from the Oxford O2 Academy over at BBC Radio 1 and here's the video pitch by Skin Flicks' Sniper Twins where you can hear the song again. I have no idea if this is the real video pitch or not, but well, enjoy:
Chase & Status' upcoming album is scheduled to be released the 31st of January next year according to Amazon.
Chase & Status Cover Plan B at Radio 1's Live Lounge & Stream Their Live Performance from Oxford O2 Academy

Listen to the whole performance and interview:
Speaking of Plan B, he is also slated to appear on Chase & Status upcoming album and is also one of those who will perform at this years edition of the MTV EMAs.

The official video for Rihanna's David Guetta-produced 'Who's That Chick' entered the Internet last month but here are the official versions of the video, without HHIC-tags all over it. Yeah videos, plural as RiRi goes hard with the dichotomies and makes a dark/emo-version for night and a bubbly colourful and vibrant version for daytime.
The song is said to be the first single from David Guetta's upcoming album "One More Love" (due 29th of November), as well as it's featured on Rihanna's "LOUD".
As I said before, LOVE the day-version, but the dark&twisted-one? Please, no more heavy metal-fonts? Didn't that "crazy thing" died out with Ed Banger?
Marina and the Diamonds Covers Magnetic Man's 'Perfect Stranger' & Competes For "Best European Act" at the EMAs
Yesterday Marina and the Diamonds won the "Best UK & Irish Act" award for the MTV EMAs and now as I wrote yesterday, she and the diamonds go head to head with 20 other European acts for the "Best European Act"-award at the upcoming gala. So all you Marina and the Diamonds fans, cast your votes here.
That said, you don't have to be a hardcore fan of Marina to fall head over heels in love with this cover of Magnetic Man's smash hit 'Perfect Stranger' featuring Katy B that Marina performed Saturday's at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge on Jo Whiley's show. It has really managed to lighten up this rainy grey day like a fucking Christmas tree:
Marina & the Diamonds - 'Perfect Stranger' (Magnetic Man Cover)
A new week means a new site from M.I.A. and this week it's called www.facefacefacebook.com and this time it does not contain any music. Instead it's some sort of interactive playground where you simply can create your own facefacefacebook-pics with them infamous youtube-bars and add them to M.I.A.'s big facefacefacebook.
I really like what M.I.A.'s doing with these web-pages, it's a bit like browsing through my own web-page achieve from like 1997 and all the bad sites I did back then (in ms word for the record) and but at the same time I can't help but wonder what the purpose of all this is? What's the end game?
Interwebz revolution Maya style? To piss Diplo off like he claims with leaking old tunes? Basic publicity stunt? For a simple laugh? To keep us busy wondering?
So many questions, so few answers. That said. spend some minutes online creating your own facefacefacebook-pics like this.
