I'm not ashamed of many things, but me loving the MTV VMA's is definitely one of them. Dunno why I think that's sooooo embarrassing really, maybe because the quality of MTV has been as the economy lately, straight down the hill. MTV just feels sordid and it's actually quite funny that there's still a VMA show when they rarely show any music videos at all nowadays.
Me and MTV have a strange relationship over all. The VMA's have caused many fights over the telly with past boyfriends and the show is like the only thing I'm watching on that network to be honest. Didn't grew up with MTV like everyone else either, it was that rare thing that only existed at hotels and on rich kids satellite sets. Didn't have it until I left home when I was 19...
But however, here I am, watching the stream of red carpet arrivals and hyping myself up for tonight's great event (most looking forward to them CuDi & GaGa performances) with videos like this:

Can I simply say amazing? That sign language and all? And yeah, the guitar still bugs me, it's just so annoying and unnecessary but I've learned to live with it, I've even learned to love this:
